Spirulina for the Skin
Spirulina is a type of oceanic algae that contains a wide array of nutrients. Known as one of the “super foods,” spirulina can provide your body with many different health benefits. For example, you can improve the quality of your skin by supplementing your diet with spirulina, and using a powerful skincare line that is known for its algae in their products. Grown in their facility here in La Grange, Texas.
Spirulina contains high-quality protein and large concentrations of vitamins and minerals, including the B complex vitamins, minerals such as calcium and iron, and vital amino acids. Spirulina is also high in a specific and rare type of fatty acid called gamma linolenic acid that is found in very few substances on Earth.
Spirulina has been touted to help the body in a wide variety of ways, including providing the body with energy, warding off free radicals and eliminating toxins from the skin, increasing skin metabolism to enable faster skin cell turnover and skin healing, and helping prevent candida bacteria overgrowth that can cause acne breakouts.
Spirulina is typically purchased as a powder that needs to be refrigerated, which you can purchase from any health food store or natural foods market. Spirulina can be added to smoothies or mixed into any raw foods recipe. Spirulina should not be heated because many of the nutrients will be removed during the heating process.
The care and science AlgAllure® put in their products I have never seen in a skincare company. Not only that their entire line. The kit you can purchase is so synergistic your face is glowing and refreshed the first time you use it. And over time I can see that I can keep this as my skincare. I test a lot from other companies and K-beauty companies for my evaluation and reviews. But in between it is AlgAllure®. I recommend this skincare as a healthy and sustainable line! Thank you AlgAllure® for such beautiful products and providing great agricultural algae for plants and crops.
PLUS I HOPE THEY COME UP WITH A NEW LIP PRODUCT SO I CAN TEST AND REVIEW!! EEK! HINT HINT! EYE CREAM TOO!!
